Hi, this Oscar Arellano and welcome to the next episode of #REALTORBuzz, and today’s episode we are going to talk about professional photos. I was recently at a brand new listing where the photographer was in the middle of taking photo’s for the listing, and the owner pulled me aside and asked a question I get a lot, and that is “Couldn’t I take these photos myself?” So let’s get into why it is so important to have a professional photographer take the listing photos for you.

These pictures are going to be all over the internet, and when you are marketing a home, the first impression is so important. You see photos out there from Realtor’s that have pictures that are gloomy, dark, black, and you can’t even appreciate the home. This is why it is important to have professional photos that are crisp, bright, and full of life. The first impression is arguably the most important aspect of selling your home. You want that buyer to see your home on the internet and go, “Wow! I want to see that house, immediately!”

It’s extremely important when you hire a Realtor to make sure you have professional photos taken, regardless of the prices tag on the property. It could be a million dollar property, a five million dollar property, or even 100 thousand dollar property. It doesn’t matter how much the property cost; having professional photos taken of your property will help you sell that home quicker. I cannot stress how important it is for you to have professional photos done.
