Motivated to re-examine your priorities, finances, safety and health but besides this want a hint who is too? Just keep looking around your neighborhood and you’ll see it is…
Homeowners! Homeowners that want to improve their property’s curb appeal that’s who.
Last week’s blog was about organization and tips on how that aids our daily lives but also how it will help when listing your house. One of the points was fixing up, painting and curb appeal. Now it’s a chance to take action on our properties and especially in South Florida where we enjoy being outdoors so much.
So why bring this up now?
Fixing up, painting and curb appeal actually does make a difference in our community and its property value. Our homes are identified by it and also a reflection of our personalities is showcased. Many potential buyers if don’t see your home’s curb appeal, the harder it will be to sell. According to Meriam’s Webster:

Have you noticed around many neighborhoods where there are predominiately Single Family Homes, Miamians are upgrading their curb appeal even if it’s some basics due to time and budget. Staying home is benefiting our curb appeal and bring value to our homes plus it’s pleasing to the eye and makes you smile. Even if have a small front yard, there is so much you can do. You may be surprised and learn a thing or two with little things can help. Check out this article to give you some ideas:

Next time your out on your bike, weekend drive, or a stroll, notice the landscapers – they are everywhere especially in Coral Gables! They can provide you with interesting ideas and recreate a fresh new look that will say WOW!
Further more there is great news related to this topic… Recently the National Assocation of Realtors did an article on the impact of how people are finding new hobbies related to their homes and how it is helping boost this sector of the economy with a big jump in March. This is a great indicator that though financial times are tough, this is helping families bond and enjoy more comfort in their dwellings by staying home.
