Coral Gables City Beautiful Awards
On an episode just aired on Coral Gables Television we saw highlights from the annual “City Beautiful Awards” recently hosted by the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce. The breakfast, which was hosted at the Biltmore Hotel, were presented last week to help celebrate aesthetic beauty and iconic charm Coral Gables is known for. The award also honor local commercial properties who contribute to the city’s signature charm with their architectural achievements. This year, the winners for outstanding architectural achievement are:
- Outstanding Interior Commercial Building: 1929 Ponce de Leon
- Outstanding Exterior Commercial Building: University of Miami Student Activity Center
- Outstanding Retail Showroom: The Collection
- Outstanding Restoration Project: University of Miami Toppel Career Center
