In the month of May, the real estate market experienced a slight uptick in activity compared to April. A total of 38 single-family homes were sold in May, marking a solid increase from the 34 homes sold in April. This growth reflects continued buyer interest and movement in our local market as we head into the summer season.
Among the May transactions, four waterfront properties were sold, showcasing the ongoing demand for luxury homes with prime water access. These waterfront homes commanded a strong average price per square foot of $1,381.97 underscoring the premium placed on location and lifestyle amenities.
Non-waterfront properties also performed well, with an average price per square foot of $951.26 indicating healthy values across a broad range of single-family homes. This steady performance points to a balanced market where both waterfront and non-waterfront homes are seeing competitive interest from buyers.
