In the month of April, the real estate market experienced a noticeable uptick in activity compared to March. A total of 34 single-family homes were sold in April, marking a solid increase from the 26 homes sold in March. This growth reflects continued buyer interest and movement in our local market as we head into the spring season.
Among the April transactions, two waterfront properties were sold, showcasing the ongoing demand for luxury homes with prime water access. These waterfront homes commanded a strong average price per square foot of $2,206.95 underscoring the premium placed on location and lifestyle amenities.
Non-waterfront properties also performed well, with an average price per square foot of \$1,008.71, indicating healthy values across a broad range of single-family homes. This steady performance points to a balanced market where both waterfront and non-waterfront homes are seeing competitive interest from buyers.
As we continue into the second quarter of the year, we’ll be keeping a close eye on market trends and activity levels. Stay tuned for more insights and updates to help you stay informed on all things real estate.
