The Coral Gables City Commission met this week to discuss a proposal for a adding a special assessment tax that will assist in paying for a hoped-for streetscape project on Coral Gable’s Miracle Mile and Giralda Avenue. City leaders have been wanting to beautify Miracle Mile, making it a more pedestrian-friendly main street through Coral Gables. Several weeks ago my listing at 50 Menores Ave, #813 in Coral Gables closed, but not without a couple of speed bumps. It turned out the building in which the condo was located had a land lease.
