Coral Gables Waterway Information

20120121_waterway-Gables-SMIn Coral Gables and other cities alike, waterfront property has much higher value, particularly properties with dock space or access to open water. The main waterway in Coral Gables, the Gables Waterway, runs parallel to Riviera Drive and perpendicular to US 1; “upstream” it goes farther into the Gables, and “downstream” travels seaward until it empties into the Bay.

Throughout the waterway there are several bridges at varying heights and widths allowing vessels from 20 feet to 40 feet to clear through. The bridges clearance range from 7′ to 21′.
