Coral Gables Trolley Program to Expand

The Coral Gables Trolley program is a service that provides fare free, convenient transportation connecting Downtown Coral Gables to surrounding areas including the Metrorail system. It has proven to be very successful in its purpose to reduce local traffic congestion and alleviate parking requirements. Since November 2003, just over 10 years ago, the program has provided these transportation services to Coral Gables residents, commuters, and visitors to the community. Coral Gables January Sales Trends

In the month of January there were a total of 19 single family home sales in Coral Gables, none of which were waterfront and golf view properties. December sales were nearly double even considering the holidays.  However, the average sales per square foot was $283, which is less than the $315 per sq. ft average from December.

Proposing for Historic District in Coral Gables

  Coral Gables Historical Resources Department has proposed for a historic district to be added to as many as 60 homes on Coral Way. If passed, residents to homes between Alhambra Circle and Anderson Road will have a new level of review to go through before updating their home. Many of the homes in this proposed area are among Coral Gables oldest, having been built in the 1920’s and 1930’s.
