BLOG: BACK TO SCHOOL/LABOR DAY EDITION | COMMUNITY | 4 of September 2020
Can you believe it is already September? It feels like an eternity but we are here and doing our best as we continue adapting to a new norm starting off with our kids first day of the school year virtually earlier this week. We’ve all seen some cute home school desks, areas and our kids trying their best to learn in ways they never imagined. You have to admit, though it’s not the best scenario, much good has come out of this delicate and stressful era so let’s look forward to this excited month.
Notice how much we have grown over the summer, gotten creative, set new goals and many have made decisions to renovate their homes, move into a new one or sell theirs. Though in Miami, it always feels like summer even in September, there is a shift in the air as it is the unofficial start of fall season kicking-off with Labor Day long-weekend.
Since there are no major storms (keep our fingers and toes crossed) why not make plans to leave the house if at all possible always keeping safe and taking precautions.
Here are some ideas…
Check out your favorite restaurant or a new one! We learned of exciting news a few days ago that in Miami our restaurant industry is slowly opening up again its indoor dining up to 50% capacity. Though some sadly have had to close, there are still plenty local restaurants we can visit this weekend and take a break.
Did you know it is also Miami Spa month until end of September?
Miami is known for it’s happy and beautiful people and with all that has been happening, maybe it’s time to pamper yourself with a day at a local spa whether it’s for a healing treatment or a facial, there are plenty of packages and spas participating. Here is the link to the participating spas…

Furthermore, if you are stayin in town for the long-weekend, our friends at the Miami Herald just released a great article of what is opened and closed. Check it out here…
