BLOG: COVID-19 EDITION | COMMUNITY PART II| 2 of April 2020
We all continue to adapt.
And while we are all uncomfortable learning how to adapt daily into unknown territories of COVID-19, we can all agree it’s frustrating, sad, unreal just to name a few feelings – we definitely are all in this together!

However, there is a saying that in everything there is a silver lining and though the new norm is “social distancing” and “self-isolation” South Floridians are happy people, resilient and very creative – just take a look at social media during hurricane season and parades of cars to celebrate loved ones birthdays this last week! We are finding ways to stay active, shift our mindsets and all while staying connected – from our local government leaders, first responders, our heroes in the medical field and especially small business owners finding altenatives to stay connected while respecting everyones wellbeing.

Now imagine today how would we function without our smart phones? Savvy techy platforms? Online shopping? Social Media? Aren’t we fortunate to be able to at least have these tools to adapt? If you’ve been following us on Instagram, you’ve been seeing we are finding the best solutions for your real estate needs. We have seen a peak in technology use like never before but we have also see it in the way we communicate with each- other and in our neighborhoods.
The silver lining is not just to adapt but to seize the day!
Seize the day to connect with our loved ones, neighbors, colleagues, an old friend, the elderly that need us. We are making our neighborhoods come alive with kindness day-by-day more and more. We are naturally “seizing” the day with a smile or waving hello to a stranger on our morning or afternoon stroll or bike ride.

We have discovered new neighbors and offer to help or just recognize them. We are going outside for longer periods and not in fear, rather than truly stopping to smell the roses, notice other houses and maybe even get ideas to remodel or list our home.
We have dusted off our bikes and our running shoes. We are seeing gas prices drop to $1.99 a gallon right when we barely use them, the irony! We are decluttering our homes, our gardens, our minds and becoming more grateful. Our pets think we are crazy and many are loving it! We are seeking a higher power and trusting this too shall end soon. And while we have all shifted to seize the day, lets keep preparing our minset to seek the silver lining in this while staying safe following the proper guidelines and keep our homes clean for a brighter future.
